ABOUT ME ⬇️
I became a cat sitter because I know first-hand how stressful finding pet care can be at times. Your friends and family are busy or unavailable, and who do you turn to? Well, I'm here to be a trusted sitter for you!
I have had my own pets the entire life, including dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. I have also spent 2 years volunteering as a foster mom for Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue. In my foster mom days, I learned to give cats medicine (liquid and pill), how to approach shy cats to gain trust, and many other bits of info on cats!
At home my wife and I currently have 3 cats who are all different, so I'm comfortable with all animal personalities. Shy, standoffish, loving, hyper, you name it!
I have experience cat sitting for cats of all ages, all personalities and ones who require special care.
I adore all animals and would be excited to be your pet sitter while you are away. I can offer home visits for your cat(s). I love to send updates and keep you in the loop while away. If you're anything like me, you like to see what your pets are up to without you!😆
SERVICES I OFFER ⬇️
• Standard 30-minute cat visits in your home. During my visits I will check on cats, feed/re fill food bowls, give water, play and clean litter boxes.
• I offer the option for 1 or 2 visit(s) per day based on your cats needs.
• I am able to do home visits in the Barrhaven and Nepean areas.
• I have a car and can support your pet in an emergency if needed, I can take your cat to the vet if need be. I am confident in my skills to navigate a difficult or emergency situation.
• I am able to administer oral medications to cats, and am comfortable with senior cats.
• I will love and spoil your cat while you're away!

• Share what your expectations are from your cat sitter
• Share the area of Barrhaven or Nepean that you're in (no need to share your address but a general area so I can determine distance).
• Include any special details I might need to know (ie. is your cat on medications? does your cat have any special daily routines? does time of day matter for visits? etc.)

Lindsay looked after our cat while we were traveling during the holidays. She was able to work around our busy schedules to meet us and our cat at our convenience. From the first meeting, Lindsay showed that she was experienced caring for pets, and asked us questions about our cat's care that went above and beyond a typical sitter. During the booking, Lindsay got in touch with us every day, by multiple communication methods, so were constantly in the loop about our cat's care.
