My name is Tanya, and I would be super thrilled to care for your pets in your home or on lovely fun-filled walks!! I am in LOVE with animals, they bring so much joy to my life. I have had animals my entire life from the time I was born. I've had cats, dogs, and even an Iguana! I did a small bout of volunteering at an animal shelter when I was a teenager, and I have fostered cats in the past (some behavioural). Animals tend to be really drawn to me - for instance, a fussy Yorkie who is very guarded and defensive took to me in an instant, following me around and trying to kiss me all the time! I've rescued snapping turtles from the road, risking my fingers (!!!) in order to protect them. 

I have worked with territorial cats who I've carefully gained trust, elderly animals needing medications, kittens, I've fostered feral-like cats, and have experience with many dogs as well, big and small. I have trained a dog to understand commands by hand language! 

I am very seasoned in all sorts of animal care, as I have a ultra-longhaired persian who needs special brushing on the daily, eye care, ear care and more. She has had allergies so I've had to administer all sorts of various medicines. I am availble to come in 1x or 2x daily (or more!) or housesit to care for your fur-babies and ensure your home is okay. I will care for them and love on them as if they were my own!

I can also do dog walking (or cat walking, for the adventure kitty!) I'm pretty open. I mean, I do you see that pic of me with the snapping turtle?! haha! 😆 Having my cat and knowing just how over-protective and in love with her I am, I have that understanding for people hiring someone and having them come look after these very important members of the family.

I can also do anything else, such as watering plants (I have almost 20!) getting mail, etc.

I have a degree in education, along with a double major bachelors degree in both Sociology and Criminology. I get tested for Covid 3x a week. Criminal background check and drivers abstract clear.
