I moved to Alberta in 2001 from Newfoundland where I was a professional groomer and worked in a Vet clinic as a Veterinary Assistant. I continued with my Grooming here in Alberta from 2001 until 2008 when my first child was born. I was a small breeder of Boston Terriers after falling in love with the breed. I am not currently breeding but proud to say my last breeding produced the 2016 top Boston Terrier in Canada! I am now a stay at home Mom to 3 girls. 

In December 2016 I had to say good-bye to my 13.5 year old Boston Terrier. Single handedly the hardest thing I have done. Our house was empty and our hearts broken. February of 2017 we adopted a cat from a local rescue to fill that void and in December of 2017 we added a second kitty, they bring us so much joy!

During my time pet sitting on Pawshake I had honestly not given a lot of thought to cat sitting but it is now my main focus because I love it so much! I may just be THE crazy cat lady! Cats really are happiest in their homes and hiring a cat sitter to visit them allows you a stress free time away from home. I strive to make your time away from your cats the easiest it can be by providing frequent updates and photos. My flexible scheule allows me to cater my visits to you home around a time you feel is best for the cats schedule. I will spend time visiting with them, playing with them, brushing them if that is what they like. I keep a close eye on tyical behaviours as to stay on top of any issues that would arise. I truly worry about them as if they were my own. I have many happy repeat clientele which speaks to the peace of mind I offer. It makes me feel like I am doing something right and that makes me feel so good! I also take in the mail and keep an eye on things around the home and can make the house looked "lived in " while you are away. I provide my service all around the north east area.
