Hi! I’m Alex, a 25-year-old Canadian originally from Montreal, now living in Vancouver with my dog Laika, my partner and our sweet beagle, Rocky.

I’ve always had animals in my life — from ferrets when I was a kid to my family dog Maki, a cockapoo I helped train when I was 16 and still take care of today.

In 2023, I adopted my own dog, Laika, while living in Costa Rica. She’s almost 4 now — a strong, smart, and affectionate rescue who’s traveled everywhere with me. Raising her on my own taught me so much about canine behavior, and I’ve also worked with professional dog trainers to better understand and communicate with dogs of all temperaments.

I’m an active and caring person who loves hikes, dog walks, coffee shop outings, and quality cuddle time. ⛰️ I currently work as a freelance photographer and videographer 📸, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to devote to your pets. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or playtime at the park, I’ll treat your furry friend like family.
