Do you have an old crotchety old cat with behavior or aggression issues? Or a pet that needs special care (pills, shots, etc). Maybe a guinea pig, chinchilla or snake that needs some snuggles? I absolutely adore every type of animal out there... so whether it's a kitty or a tarantula, you've found your pet sitter!
I'm the parent to an old hypothyritic brain damaged kitty that requires daily meds, so I feel comfortable taking care of pets with special needs... Former board member of a Wildlife Rescue, so I've learned to care for many different injured or sick animals...even pelicans!
I am also comfortable with all animals, whether its birds, rats, snakes or fishies. I will not do live feeding other than insect feeds (no mice feeding for snakes).
I'm currently a graduate student studying clinical counseling. I study from home so I am available all day, and happy to study from your home snuggling your pets!
Please note, I will bring my husband with me to every meet and greet for safety purposes, since we are strangers meeting through the internet! He will stay in the car while I meet you and say hello to your pets.
Also, I tend to be very busy on this app, so preference given to folks in North Burnaby and ongoing regular clients. Further distances only home sitting at full day rate.
We contacted Amanda for taking care our cat (Garfield) when we went to a 5-day trip to Banff . She is very nice and caring and we are extremely satisfied with her service. She sent us a picture from Garfield everyday and let us know about his behaviour on a daily basis. On our way back from Jasper , we didn't have coverage for the most of the road, so she got concerned whether Garfield has to spend a day alone and messaged us about it, which was very nice of her.
Grooming (not fancy, just great with treating matted fur)
