Hi my name is Sydney! I am 19 years old and the assistant manager of a vet clinic in West Kelowna! I have been a vet assistant for 4 years and am very passionate about taking care of animals :) I used to live in Kamloops but I moved here in October for a change. I am unable to take pets into my own home but am able to come and stay at yours. I have pet sat for family friends over the years but am now wanting to offer my services to other's as I don't have my pets here with me and love to hang out with animals. At my home in Kamloops I have 2 cats named Belley and Tiny ( my little brother named Tiny haha ), and a dog named Leo! I mainly have experience with dogs and cats but am open to other animals as well! I've also had experience with horses and farm animals. I am a quiet and clean person who will take very good care of your pet and house while you're away! :)
I work and live in West Kelowna so I do have a preference for West Kelowna but am open to Kelowna/ Peachland. My services: house sitting (staying at your home): feed, care for, and play with your babies. I have only stayed with cats and dogs as well as on ranches but am totally open to other pets. Checking on pets while you're away (1-2 times per day): stopping into your house 1-2 times per day to feed and care for your pet, most suitable for cats. These visits will generally only be for 30 minutes. If you are wanting me to stay longer we can discuss options with that. Dog walking: taking your dog for a walk! My rate is for a 30 minute walk. If you are wanting me to go for longer we can discuss that.
For my schedule: I do work a full time job and a second job. When house sitting I won't pick up shifts to work both in a day so that I can be home with the pets as much as I can. Days that I know I will be working both jobs I block off in my schedule. I will usually be working my regular 8 hour shift. My shift start times vary from 8 am, 10 am, and 12pm. So with dog walking/home visit, we would have to discuss the times since my shifts can be different every day. I'm generally pretty flexible and am happy to come before or after work whatever is best for your baby.
