Hello! My name is Julia, I am living in downtown Toronto and I am graduating in June with a BA in psychology from TMU. I am 22 years old and have lived in Toronto for the last 4 years, so I have gotten accustomed to the area. My family has a white Shih Tzu, her name is Buttons, we've had her for the past 8 years. I love her to death and I helped raise her, train her, teach her and discipline her. I have lots of experience with many different dogs and cats, but I love all animals! I love to hike and walk long distances and being outdoors, because of that I would be a perfect candidate as a dog walker. I also have childcare experience and experience dog sitting for family friends so I know that I would also be a good candidate to come and take care of your animals whenever you need me! I love to help others when I can.

My services include dog walking, home visits once a day and overnight dog sitting at your home. I can help with minor training from my own knowledge and experience. I am good with any dog/cat breed or size. During home visits I can stay as long as I am needed, but at the minimum I will stay an hour or a couple hours. I can also do house chores if needed, such as watering plants, getting the mail, etc. I will do a minimum of 30 minute walks with dogs up to as long as you would like me to walk them (a couple of hours). I know some animals need more outdoor time and activity than others, so it would be based on what the animal and owner requires. There are many green spaces and dog parks in the area that I live in downtown Toronto, I would take the animals to whatever is around the area that we are in. For house sitting, I can do a couple of hours for as long as I'm needed, and overnight if needed. I will make sure the area is safe for the animals, the house is secure, closed up and locked. I will not bring anyone over it would just be me with your pet. I don't offer home boarding and daycare, as I don't have the space for that.

I can work in any weather conditions and with multiple pets If needed (to a point, if the animals are large I would need to assess what I can handle, or if there are more than 2-3 animals at a time). If your dog or animal has any temperament or obedience issues then I am happy to come and meet them and get to know them to see if it's the right fit, and I can help teach them (if it's the right fit). I will be with your pet the entire time that they are in my care, whichever service that may be. I am very used to walking our family dog multiple times a day, feeding her, and taking care of her.

My availability is pretty open and changes weekly depending on what I have going on but most days I can do anytime that I am needed. I prefer not to work on weekends but if I am needed and compensated then I would gladly be available.
