Carolina and Andres

We both have had dogs almost all our lives! Carolina had her first dog when she was 5 years old, it was a Basset Hound named Snoopy. Since then, she has taken care of big dogs like a Brazilian Mastiff, medium dogs like a Golden Retriever and small dogs like a Miniature Yorkshire Terrier. She had a 13 year old Golden Retriever back home in Ecuador who recently passed away. Andres had his first dog when he was 13 years old, it was a white Labrador named Tonka. Later when he was 15 he got Fiona a black Labrador. He took care of both from when they were puppies until they both sadly passed away with cancer when Tonka was 10 and Fiona 12.

Since we moved in together we have sitted our friends dogs many times! They are always treated like royalty in our house, they can jump on the furniture, we take them to walks/hikes and play with them.

Carolina works from home so she can stay with the dogs all day! She can take them on walks twice a day as well. On the weekends we can base our schedule to the type of dog we are taking care of and how much exercise they need. If they require a lot of exercise we love to go on long hikes and if they are senior dogs that just need 30 min of active walks we can do that and then snuggle with them to watch a movie!

We don’t have any dogs although we are open to take care of 2 dogs at the same time we will always mention that to the parents of the second dog beforehand. We are open to requirements on any lifestyle the dog has including sleeping and eating habits.

Our house has three flours and our bedroom is on the third floor so please take that into account if the dog would need to sleep in our bedroom. Dogs are allowed on all of our furniture but if you are training them and prefer us to enforce them being off furniture we can do that.
