Hello! I’m Quinta, and I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my home with cats for over 15 years. Currently, I have a wonderful 7-year-old cat who requires special care, and over the years, we’ve worked together to create a routine that supports his health and well-being. Through structured feeding, playtime, and a balanced diet, we've helped him feel more comfortable and confident. (We adopted him from SPCA morbidly obese, and now he maintains a lower weight and better quality of life!) In the past, my homes have always had cats, family cats, roommate's pets, and I even fostered a cat for several months.

I’m passionate about providing thoughtful, compassionate care for every cat I look after. Whether your cat needs a quiet environment, more structured play, or simply a bit of companionship, I’m here to make sure they feel safe and loved. I believe that every cat has its own unique needs, and I take the time to get to know them so I can provide the best care possible.

Here are some skills that I can bring to my pet-sitting with your loved one:

- use of special feeding tools like automatic feeders, slow-feeders, lick-mats

- setting up enrichment for your pet using toys and puzzles you have or recycled, pet-safe materials

- exercise with your pets favourite toys and treats

- administering medication (*in most cases, you know your pet best)

-mental stimulation through learning tricks and commands

I also ensure that all the cats I care for are vaccinated to maintain a healthy, happy environment for everyone. I make it a point to wash and sanitize my hands between cat visits to help minimize the spread of flu and other germs between pets.
