I am a responsible, and reliable person who loves all animals, big and small and have been caring for others pets for over 8 years. The option of home care is great for those who prefer a one on one experience with their pet to feel like they've never left home.
I live in a condo that allows animals up to roughly 45lbs (give or take) a dog park down the road, and several trails around my area which I enjoy exploring with a dog in tow. I have 2 cameras set up to watch your pet while I'm out to ensure their safety at all times.
Fully vacinnated animals are a requirement.
A typical day involves for dog boarding, a walk in the morning, roughly 1/2 hour, a hour walk when I get home from work and another 1/2 walk in the evening. Each dog is different and has different needs, so during the meet and greet, I ask what exactly your dog needs are and what your expectations are to ensure we are a great match. Photos are sent daily and if anything out of the ordinary happens, I will be in contact with you right away. I can only board one dog at a time unless your dogs are bonded and need to stay together.
As for cat services, I typically will stay around 1/2 hour playing and trying to engage your cat. Unfortunately, not all cats are interested in strangers, but I will still try. If plants need watering or your mail picked up while you're away, I'm happy to do that as well.
I am not a certified trainer, but due to fostering with a fantastic organization, I've had the privilege to work with a trainer and attend first aid courses and I am constantly trying to learn training techniques on my own. I believe in positive reinforcement only when it comes to training and discipline.
I always follow up with my clients during and at the end of the booking to make sure that the owner is home (for cat visits) so your pet is not left alone, as emergencies can come up or your return may be delayed.
Last minute extension bookings are welcome if needed! If your pet has special needs, not a problem. I'm comfortable giving medication either orally, or by injection and have performed this with past clients.
UPDATE: I have completed Dogsafe Canine First Aid 101 course September 24, 2017. An extra layer of comfort when leaving your pet with me.
Due to limited options on this site, you may notice different rates from one booking to the next as cat boarding is less than dog boarding. I will be happy to modify my rates once you've requested a booking that suits your needs. I do reduce my rate on bookings that are over 14 days.

Christina has been my cat sitter for about four years now. I travel for business and it is great to know that my cats are so well cared for while I’m gone! One of my cats is very shy, she won’t come out to see anyone who visits - except Christina!
Christina took wlvery good care of our Benny and saw to his needs as we had hoped. She took him on walks, attended to his quirks and may even have bonded with him during the stay! 😊
Benny loves his auntie Christina and we look forward to seeing her again.
I have completed a Dogsafe Canine First Aid 101 course. Not only did I learn about first aid but also how to read a dogs body language which can be very helpful when bringing your dog for a walk or the dog park. I've always had a pet growing up and volunteer at the SPCA, so I'm pretty familiar with odd or difficult behaviour in animals. I also foster with LEASH and may have another dog at the time of your booking. If your dog or cat doesn't not get along with other dogs, I can arrange for my foster dog to stay with family.
