My name is Rebecca. I have been a passionate animal lover since I was young. Growing up with two dogs, I missed having my own posts after moving to Canada and started to house- and pet-sitting for a number of friends, acquaintances, and family. Since 2020, I have been petsitting professionally in Canada and around the world! I spend 6 months of the year outside of Canada, and petsit full time when back in Toronto. 

I offer live-in, long- or short-term sitting, which includes:

- 24h care for your pet(s).
- Dog walking.
- Medication and/or regular feeding schedules.
- Upkeep and care of your home including watering plants/gardens, mail collection, and all cleaning and tidying.
- Full security and peace of mind.
- Reliable and timely arrival/departure.

I have varied experience house and pet sitting in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia. My past sits have ranged anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks in length, and am happy to talk to you more about my experience and to offer you references. I have experience with cats, small and medium dogs, and small pets (bunnies). This has included a number of rescue animals, and I understand that special attention or care can be required. I am comfortable giving oral medication to both cats and dogs, as well as treating skincare needs (such as acne).

I work from home (and am mostly a homebody during my free time!) meaning I will always be around to take care of your pet's needs. I am organised, detailed, and dependable. Whether it's a strict diet, a regular walking schedule, or even just frequent face-time with you—I always put you and your pet first while given the opportunity to care for your home and animals!

More about me: I work remotely in communications and marketing for non profits and social enterprises. I am vegan, low-waste, and minimal in lifestyle—but huge in heart for taking care of your beloved pet! I am an avid traveller, rock climber, yogi, and love to spend sunny days outside with a coffee and a good book. I enjoy jogging and walking, and would love a companion if your pet is up for it! Last but not least, I love caring for plants and gardens as well, and I keep my living space very clean and tidy. I always make sure to leave your home cleaner than when you left.
