I'm a 25-years-old graduate film student. Originally, I'm from Brazil, but now I live in Montreal. Animals have always been a passion and I always had them: fishes, hamsters and, especially, dogs! During my life, I tried as much as I could to get in touch with those loveable creatures, besides those of my own. Because of that, I took care of several friends'and family's pet (mostly cats and dogs) and also helped rescued dogs in my hometown.
Among my own pets, I had a dog with epilepsy that required daily medication and a lot of care; this experience taught me a lot about understanding the limitations of an animal, but also all the love it has to share, despite the difficulties that it could have. More recently, in 2015, I adopted a dog that suffered a bus accident: she - we called her Frida - had terrible injuries and several broken bones. I took care of her in the whole healing process, cleaning the wounds, giving medicines and doing all the bandage as well. She is the love of my life and has the most grateful eyes. Unfortunately, she stays in my parent's house since I don't have much space, and I miss her a lot. I truly understand what it is to want someone loveable and efficiently taking care of your pets - they are just the greatest!
I'm committed to taking care of your pets like if they were mine. You can trust me for having an eye for any specific needs, besides feeding, playing and cleaning - I'm very good at washing and grooming dogs if needed. Also, since I have some experience with injured and sick dogs, I can also give medicines if necessary. I'm willing to discuss the number of hours needed for a visit (minimum 30 minutes) - on a regular basis or not.
When home boarding the pet has access to the entire house + two balconies (one in the back and one in the front, both fully fenced). I live with my boyfriend and a roommate, both very found of dogs. I’m in my last years of studies (doings my thesis), so I stay a lot at home since I don’t have classes anymore. If I’m not at home, normally there will be either of the other residents in here. If not so, I never stay for long outside when I’m PetSitting. I only board one pet at a time. Normally I adjust for the sleeping place, depending on the pet’s habit: sofa, corridor, bedroom... the only restriction is the bed. For the dog walks I also adjust to their habits: 2 shorter walks a day, 1 long walk, going to a dogpark, etc.
I'm really looking forward to meeting you and your pet as well! Hope to see you soon!
Marley really seemed to have a good time with Anna!
Anna was without a doubt the best sitter I have ever left my Luna with. From the beginning Luna went directly to her, which is a very uncommon thing for her to do with strangers. Anna was very easy to communicate with, she kept me fully updated in regards to how my dog was doing while I was away, with pictures that showed just how well, safe and comfortable my dog was feeling in a new environment. She even gave Luna a shower (with my authorization). It is just plain to see that animals are very well taken care of by Anna. In the past, I have picked up a very stressed Luna from other sitters, even though everything seemed to go fine. With Anna, I came back to a healthy and happy pet, and I believe there is no better testimony to her capabilities than that.
