About me: I have had animals my whole life (dogs and cats). Growing up I spent a lot of time on my aunts farm with the horses and barn cats. I have fostered small dogs in my home for Freedom Dog Rescue in an effort to find rescues their loving forever homes. I have one cat and one dog and am available and would love to look after your furbabies before and after work and on weekends. I have over two years professional experience in the pet care industry and along with my volunteer activities, have been able to take dog training courses and animal behaviour courses, which I apply when taking care of pets entrusted in my care. I also have experience taking care of small pets (rabbits, fish, guinea pigs) and cats. I have experience providing insulin injections, IV fluids as well as medications for cats of all ages and am therefore capable of caring for both senior dogs and cats with special needs.
I do work full time downtown Ottawa M-F. If you need someone to stay with your 'furbaby' all day and night, I can only offer this service on Saturday and Sunday and Holidays. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have and I look forward to hearing from you. Christina (Chrissy).
Christina made sure that our dog Pepper felt right at home. We really appreciated the constant communication and pictures.
Christina is very pleasant and diligent. I appreciated her checking in while I was away, and she even cleaned up a mess my cats made when they broke into the kitchen cupboard. I would definitely hire her again.
