Availability and pet care: Most of the time Andre and I don’t have availability to dog sit during the week. We can take small pets and cats during the week and any pet on the weekends. The dogs will have 2 walks per day at 30 min each, minimum. There is a large off leash area close to our place where we typically take our dog if that fits with your dog’s personality (ie not a runner). I also have snow shoes should the weather require. We have a small yard but it’s fully fenced. OUR HOME Welcome to our home! Enjoy the freedom and fun that our home brings. My children and I enjoy hours of playtime with our dog, Brisbane, a 14 year old mini Aussie and our 3 year old rabbit, Gryphon from the SPCA. We have also recently brought in an abandoned kitten this past summer and we take care of our many fish. We keep the pet industry in business! Brisbane acts like he's 2 years old, doing the play bow with his toys, and enjoying his daily walks. Gryphon enjoys the freedom of hopping around the house, she's very social yet bossy. She is litter trained and a real joy. My youngest son Samuel (11 years old) has set up a bunny paradise in his room and we regularly see Gryphon relaxed and stretched out on the floor. This is the room where she sleeps. My oldest, Julien, (13 yrs old) absolutely loves fish and also loves watching the animals interact and petting the animals. He's a very sensitive and responsible child making sure that our pets are treated well. As for me, I grew up on a farm and appreciate the need for animals to have space to run and exercise. I was always in the barn looking after our many types of animals over the years (chickens, goats, cows and calves, pigs, rabbits, cats, dogs). I was the child always looking for an animal to play with and to this day, I continue to have that childhood joy from animals.
