IMPORTANT NOTE: My calendar says I am available February 7 to March 4, 2026, HOWEVER, that will only be for homes in the Central Saanich to Sidney area. I must feed fish twice daily at a residence in Dean Park near Panorama Rec Center so house sits near by will work fine but I won't be able to commute any further than that. 🐾 A Little About Me 

Caring for homes and animals has always come naturally to me. I grew up
surrounded by furry and feathered friends, was mowing ¼ acre before I was 4
feet tall, and my very first job was house cleaning. Most of my career was
spent in high-end Hearth & Home products and Home Staging — except for the
years I followed friends’ advice and became a Certified Dog Trainer!  

I’m now retired from training and involved some years in Natural
Health Products for People, Pets, and Homes, which I do remotely
online. That means I’m home with your pets most of the time, except for a
couple of short shifts per week in my Vitamin Department. 

Over my lifetime, I’ve shared my homes with 15 dogs, 9 cats, and a variety of other wonderful critters. I've ‘chaperoned’ dozens more dogs as a trainer and sitter as well. This lifelong experience allows me to confidently care for your precious companions and your home (with the obvious exception of serious
veterinary care.) I am proficient administering health supplements or meds and inuslin injections, know how to deal with seizures and the method for stopping vertigo - A MASSIVE RELIEF for your dog.  

Since retiring dog training, I no longer take on what’s necessary for large
reactive dogs or biters, as I need to balance my other work
commitments. That said, I have experience with many pet species and livestock
as well. I’m happy to discuss any
special care needs for critters I might not be familiar with. 

I keep an up-to-date Criminal Record Check, originally
required when hosting international students, and now for peace of mind in my home-sitting
work. 

Before you travel, I like to schedule a Meet & Greet,
and if you have dogs, ideally a pack walk so they can
naturally welcome me into their circle before you go. My goal is for both you
and your pets to feel confident and at ease knowing everything’s in caring
hands. 

I will provide a list of my repeat clients who are happy to speak
with you about their experiences — several have booked me 8 to
11 times over the past 33 months. (I’ve also house-sat for long-time
friends, caring for their children, pets, and livestock over more than 3
decades.) 

While you’re away, I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes,
or we can connect through Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp so
you can see your pets happy at home.
