Hello there!
As a pet owner who has used Pawshake with great results for my own cat Georgie, I decided that I should offer up my services for pet sitting and dog walking as I have experience with both! I know how scary it can be to leave care of your pet with someone else, so I value clear communication and ensuring that everyone feels comfortable with the arrangement. I very much understand that each pet is unique and requires different care, so I am here to learn about all the quirks and special traits your fur babies might have.
I have really appreciated getting daily updates through Pawshake sitters in the past, so I am of course happy to send photos each day with an update about your pet. For visits (around 30min) I will clean litter, give fresh food and water, and of course spend time with your pet! I have been around many, many animals in my life and know how to read cues and figure out how much play or attention your pet may need.
*I am open to two visits a day only in my immediate area of Kensington/Cedar Cottage neighbourhood. Thanks!
I love animals and have experience caring for several different dogs and cats (and chickens, and sheep, and ducks..!) I also have fostered two puppies! I work from home for a local nonprofit and enjoy getting out into the outdoors whenever possible. I also love to read, knit, cook, and spend time curled up with Georgie.

This was our first time using Erika for our cat Billie, and she proved to be an excellent, thoughtful & conscientious sitter. She sent us pictures & gave us an update every visit. We came home to a happy & contented kitty. Thanks so much, Erika!
Erika was extremely friendly and very attentive when it came to taking care of my two cats. She sent photos along with an update every day while I was away, which was very comforting as I can get anxious leaving my cats for a long period of time. Will definitely book with Erika again in the future, and would 10/10 recommend her if you need a sitter!
