Hello, my fellow animal lover! I am 40-year old work-from-home professional and dog mom who has been the lucky guardian of many more companion animals in my life, including two dogs, and too-many-to-count cats. My husband, Carl, is also a fellow dog lover who has taken care of his family dogs all his life.

I currently live in a two-bedroom condo (which I own), with large balcony, in the Mount Pleasant area of Vancouver surrounded by beautiful, walkable residential streets and parks.

I am passionate about animal welfare and have been volunteering for my local animal shelter, rapsbc.com, for nearly 15 years (happy to provide references!) I have also worked for the BC SPCA head office in their communications department, and currently work for the provincial government in the same capacity.

My pets get the highest quality of care - and so will yours! I work from home so my own pets receive an incredible amount of attention and affection 24/7!

The Supervisor: Junie Luu

I have a sweet little boxer-boston terrier-chihuahua mix dog named Junie Luu who is incredibly good with all types of other dogs. She loves the company! She has never been aggressive towards other dogs, and she ignores dogs that have shown aggression towards her. Junie would love to meet and play with any dog-friendly pups out there.

My why

I've loved animals ever since I was a little girl collecting snails in my parents' backyard.

Because of my history of pet guardianship and professional and volunteer involvement in animal welfare, it feels like a natural fit to open my home to other pets who need care and comfort during anxiety provoking times when their person is away - whether at work or on holiday.

I am also very active and love to take walks - why not have another little buddy to accompany me?
