Hey there! 😸 Thanks for visiting my page. I'm Veronica (she/her), and I'd love to be considered as your next pet sitter. 

ABOUT ME: As a mama to my own furbabies, Taco and Naomi (you can check out their pictures in my profile!), I started pet sitting on Pawshake because I know the struggle of trying to find someone reliable to look after our little loved ones while we're away. My goal is to provide pet owners around the Vancouver area with valuable, trustworthy, and top quality pet care right out of your own home. This way, your pet gets to remain comfortable and stress-free in their own space, and you get to go away feeling confident and safe in your choice with me as your pet's caretaker. I truly take joy and pride in my services as a cat sitter, and I love connecting with new clients to take great care of your furry friends. I bring 8+ years of pet care experience, plus my whole childhood growing up around cats, dogs, hamsters, reptiles, and fish. I also have confident experience with administering oral medication to cats, safely cutting cat nails, and cleaning cat ears & teeth. I am happy to travel anywhere within the Vancouver area.

SERVICES: I offer 30-minute home visits for pet feeding, playing, snuggling, and tidying up messes (litter box, pee pads, etc). I am also happy to provide additional help around your home such as sweeping & vacuuming pet hair, watering plants at your instruction, and bringing in your mail or deliveries. Other small household duties may be considered upon request. Services are available Monday thru Sunday, morning thru evening. My goal is to be as available as possible for your pets, and I am proud to offer trusted, recurring services for my clients.

BASIC EXPECTATIONS: Services include but are not limited to... At least 1 x photo update per day or house visit; Keeping in contact with owners regarding any changes with the pet and if required bringing the pets to the vet when agreed to by the owner or in an emergency; Feeding the pet as required; Access to fresh water; Dog is able to go to the toilet during the walk; Basic medication administration (non-injectables) as prescribed; Pets are kept in a hygienic condition - any messes of the pet are cleaned up, and any signs of illness or injury are reported to the owner; Any behavioural issues of the pet are disclosed; Any special requirements or instructions are written down for the sitter to prevent any misunderstanding; If feeding is required, enough pet food is provided.
