My name is Jocelyn and I have my own rescue dog, named Littlefoot and cat Beatrice, and they are the best of friends. 

I am currently not working, so I have lots of availability and flexibility during the days for dog walks and any time for house visits. i am happy to work with your schedule to fit your needs!

i am happy to service many areas of vancouver at the moment, but i ask that you select the add on fee for travel expenses should it take me longer than a half hour to get somewhere.

After having used this service to have someone sit our pets while we were away, I want to give back and provide services for those looking for dog walkers and daily house visits.

I've had cats since I was 20 years old — the first cat I had as an adult was 12 when I got her and she lived until she was over 20, so I have experience with senior cats! I then fostered 3 kittens in 2012 — one of which would then become mine, who is Beatrice, which means I have experience with a range of cats! We then adopted Littlefoot in September 2018 from Thailand, who has taken some time getting used to his life in Vancouver, but with love and patience he has come a long way since then. Having experience with a rescue has taught me to be patient and understanding and cognitive of things I may not have thought of before, such as him being afraid of the TV when we first got him, because he had never seen one before. Now he is as comfortable as ever with the TV and it doesn't even phase him with it on!

In terms of services I can provide, since we already have two pets of our own, unfortunately we are not allowed to have more than two in our place at any given time (building rules). I can provide daily walks and up to two house visits per day. I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs, and good leash manners are a plus. Because I have experience with my own rescue dog, I am happy to take things slow with dogs who may be timid or scared, since my own was this way! For cats, I am flexible as well and have experience with young and old cats and have experience administering medications as well.

I am happy to take dogs to the dog park during walks or for just a basic walk, feed and give treats and play with them and their toys.

At home visits, I will play with your pets, feed/water, clean out litter and administer medications if required. I will also be sure to send you tons of photos so it’s almost like they are with you when you’re gone! I will also water any plants you need and do tidying up so you don’t have to when you get home!
