I am a passionate, dynamic and reliable dog handler. I have 23 years of
experience and in those years I have homed and trained 3 dogs from pup to senior. I am well know for my expertise and love for pets. I treat for fur child as though they are my own, thus setting the expectation of care at a high standard.
I am a nurse by trade, AKA, a natural care giver, nurturer, with a heightened awareness to
the needs of animals and their owners on a holistic level. A dogs quality of life is of my focus and joy; my ability to connect with a dog is unparalleled. Dogs have always been an important part of my life for physical, mental at a holistic level. In my home, I have a medium sized, 4yr old dog of my own (Aila) who assists me in training, socializing and being a companion for your beloved pet. She has a motherly touch and always eager to play.
The reason I have became an animal care taker is to take action and create movement towards my dream career in the pet care, dog training and breeding industries.
Working through Pawshake will assist me in: field research, obtaining and applying animal handling skills with a broad range of breads and behavior types. In addition to engaging deeply into the pet community.

are minutes
away from my home and where I walk most often. Social play dates will occur in my fenced backyard and living room, where your dog will have full access to a wide selection of toys. If your dog has to much fun, I will provide a bath! I frequently drive my
dog and clients to Bowness off leash dog park, where it is fully fenced to give your dog
the freedom to be a pup and socialize with their K9 community. Here ,they are closely watched for their safety.
My home is your pet's home away from home where they can bring their own
toys, beds, blankets and treats as though they are moving in!
My home is kept clean and 100% animal proofed, so that your nosy
companion wont get up to no good or get into anything they are not suppose to.
I am also skilled at teaching dogs commands and obedience, using verbal and none verbal cues and can continue any training you have initiated to support your training goals. Your dog may surprise you with a few new tricks up their tail!
Pet parents can be reassured that there dog/animal will be walked 4x within a 24hr period, tioleted every 2hrs or more (puppy or senior bladders), continuation of home feeding routines and an entire day of sleep after their visit from having too much fun!

Catriona and Fowler instantly connected! Catriona has a way with how she interacts with puppies, instantly building trust and a connection between her and your puppy. She is thoughtful about your pups well-being and has knowledge on pup first aid so that you know your pup is in the best hands. She sends lots of photos and videos too! I would highly recommend Catriona for your pup walking needs!
Catriona did a great job with my husky! Appreciated her eye for detail and ability to maintain control over the animals she was watching. Will definitely be coming back!
