Hi there! My name is Mag. I’m a recent UofT graduate currently preparing my postdoctoral applications, which means my schedule is quite flexible—and I’m happy to spend some of that time caring for animals who need a little extra love while their humans are away. 

I share my home with Genghis, my sweet and silly ragdoll cat, and dream of getting him a friend one day. I’ve grown up with cats my whole life and know just how emotionally difficult it can be to leave your furry companion at home. I’ve watched the little meows and pacing on the camera, and I completely understand how much that tugs at your heart.

I’d love to help make your time away easier by spending quality time with your cat—on their terms. Whether they love playtime and cuddles or prefer quiet companionship from a respectful distance, I will always take my cue from your pet’s personality. During my visits (typically 30 minutes), I will make sure their food and water are fresh, their litter box is clean, and their space is tidy. If your cat enjoys brushing or needs medication, I’m happy to follow your instructions carefully. And of course, you’ll receive at least one photo update per visit so you can see how your kitty is doing.

Out of respect for your pet’s well-being—and to ensure I can offer the best, most consistent care—I have a few policies I kindly ask you to keep in mind:

• I only accept bookings within a 5–7 km radius from my location. This helps me be reliable and punctual.
• Please book at least 7 days in advance. I know things come up, but I’m not able to accommodate short-notice requests. I believe that proper planning helps everyone—especially your pet—feel more secure.
• I don’t offer visits every other day or sporadic check-ins. In my experience, most pets thrive with consistent daily care, and I want to ensure they feel safe, calm, and attended to in your absence.

I always like to schedule a short meet-and-greet beforehand to learn more about your cat’s routine, preferences, and needs. That way, when you’re away, your pet has a familiar face to rely on.
