My husband and I are an international couple who love to travel. We love dogs and are super flexible where we spend our time as we both work remotely - we just need our laptops to do so. Perfect for pet and house sitting opportunities, right?

About me: Home is in New Zealand where I usually spend 4-5 months a year. I am in my early 40s and have worked in travel and tourism my entire professional life. I own a boutique online travel agency specifically for inbound travel to New Zealand. I also work for various New Zealand companies on contract basis. My work includes market research, sales, translation work (I speak fluent German) and much more. I recently became a Canadian resident and currently live in Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario with my hubby. Fun fact, I'm also a Zumba instructor. :-)

About my hubby Mike: Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Mike has worked in IT most of his professional career. He's currently employed as a Web Applications Architect for a Fortune 500 company. He's also a professional jazz trumpeter with his own band, touring the world regularly.

We met in 2006 in New Zealand while Mike was on a big overseas trip. After somehow making the long distance relationship work, we eventually figured out how to live together while still spending a reasonable amount of time in each other's home countries. We got married in 2018 and now that Covid restrictions are lifted, we're finally getting back into the swing of traveling while working.

Our lifestyle does not allow us to own pets of our own but we LOVE furry friends - especially dogs.

Having recently moved back to Toronto and realizing that there is a need for pet sitters, especially around the busy holiday season, I thought it would be a great opportunity for me to make some new furry (and human) friends if I offer my pet sitting services.

I will be pet sitting mostly on my own. I'm just mentioning my husband in the profile for context of how I ended up here in Toroto ;-). If you require a house & pet sit, it woudl be likely that Mike and I would be doing that together unless you specifically only want one sitter in your home.

I am an experienced house & pet sitter for friends mostly in Las Vegas where I used to live prior to moving back to Toronto. Mike grew up with dogs in his family. We are both very respectful and tidy. We don't smoke, don't party, don't have kids. We also don't have messy hobbies. We're quiet, just working during the day usually and we love exploring new areas - especially on weekends. We also love food and coffee!

What I offer:

- I offer to care for your pet(s) in your own home and am happy to look after small tasks around the home - like emptying the mailbox or putting bins out on the street on rubbish collection days.
- I offer visits of up to 45 minutes each - which includes feeding, cleaning litter box and spending time with your fur babies - hugs and cuddles included!
- I am also happy to walk your dog(s) - maximum of two doogs at a time.

My rate for house sitting is negotiable based on how many pets there are to look after, their requirements and how many hours per day you require me to be present. The $95 rate includes up to two dogs with flexibility for me to still attend appointments / go to the gym / go out for dinners.

My service is limited to Etobicoke and the Westend of Toronto (Kingsway, Bloor West Village, Roncesvalles, High Park and potentially Missesauga.

Cancellation: Full refund if cancelled up to 7 days prior to the confirmed service date. 50% if cancelled up to 24 hours prior of the confirmed service date and 100% cancellation fee if cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
