I absolutely adore cats and love being around them. My own fur baby passed away last year at the age of 15, so I have experience providing care for senior cats with chronic medical needs (e.g. chronic pain and arthritis) including administering oral and injection medications. I'm very aware of the gentleness that is needed for senior cats that may have chronic pain, arthritis, or may otherwise be fragile. That being said, I'm also aware that cats of all ages are playful and I would also be happy to engage with them in that way as well. My motivation for cat sitting is not financial gain, I do have a professional day job. I am doing this because I miss being around cats and have so much love and affection for them and would be delighted to shower your fur baby with affection and care. I am extremely reliable and would be very attentive to the needs of your cat. I'm also very aware that cats have their own personalities and that they will come to you on their own terms, so I would also be very patient and respectful of your cat's individual style of interacting.

I am available for cat-sitting in the east end of Toronto (Moss Park, Riverdale, Danforth, Leslieville, The Beaches). Each visit includes a minimum of half an hour of time with your cat to change food and water, pet and play with them (or just hang out if they are slow to warm up), and clean the litter box. I am also happy to take in mail and water any plants.
