Jodi and Robert

We are a couple originally from the UK. We settled in Canada in 2017 after two years of travelling the world. Jodi is a Registered Nurse and Robert is an engineer. We have always loved animals and this was part of our reason for travelling the world.

My husband and I have been caring for dogs and cats on and off for the past 10 years. It all started when we began travelling through Australia. We saw a request for someone to look after their house and furbabies, Liz and Bernie, an Irish wolfhound and Golden Retriever. We spent 5 months caring and loving this lovely pair along with the family's fish and home. We loved it so much that when we received a request from another lovely lady to look after her 5 King Charles Cavaliers, 3 of which were puppies, we jumped at the chance. We and spent two weeks, walking, grooming, medicating when needed and giving them lots of cuddles.

Once leaving Australia and continuing our travels to Canada we were reached out to once again by a lovely family in Kinburn near Ottawa. We spent a month looking after their home and their precious cats and dog; George, Mogley and Mocha.

After some more travelling around Canada, we were contacted by a lady in Oakville to look after her home and her lovely cat Misha. It was at this point we fell in love with Toronto and decided to stick around for a while and care for so many amazing pets in the Beaches Village.

Jodi is currently a Stay at Home mum with our two children, so she will be able to give your pet all the attention and care. Robert works shifts so will be available on and off throughout the week.

We now live in a lovely house in Newcastle with a large fully enclosed grassed back Yard. We have access to walking trails, forests, beaches, off lease parks and other nice walking spots in beautiful Clarington.

Our oldest son absolutely loves animals and with Tilly as his fur sibling, he has learnt to be gentle and caring. We're looking forward to caring and playing with all the lovely pups and pets once again.

Services available

- Short term dog walks in Newcastle (2 weeks max) - Inc pick up and drop off if located in Newcastle Village, Newcastle Port or Bond Head only.

- Pet Visits - feeding and caring for your pet in your home per owners guidelines. Usually between 30-40 min visits at a time. (Newcastle Village, Newcastle Port and Bond Head only)

- Pet Boarding - small child friendly dogs are welcome for home boarding if owners are out of town.

- Day Boarding - I will look after your pet whilst you work or have daily activities. Times decided upon review with owner. I will take maximum of 1 extra animals per day for day boarding.
