Bonjour! Je suis une maman de 47 ans dont les enfants ont quitté la maison. J’ai 40 ans d’expérience avec les chiens, mais je ne peux pas avoir d’animal de compagnie chez moi. Cependant, j’adore quand même les chiens et j’adore m’occuper d’eux. J’ai déjà eu le bonheur de gagner la confiance de chiens issues de refuges, recueillis après avoir été maltraités. Quoi qu’ils aient besoin, je serai a leur écoute avec respect.

Je marche tous les jours sur le côté Est du Mont Royal et souhaite partager ma promenade avec un chien en manque d’exercice.

Je ne fais pas ça pour l’argent. Tout l’argent que je gagnerai sera reversé à des refuges pour animaux au Québec et en France.

Je suis ouverte à des horaires variés, mais je ne promène qu’un chien à la fois (je peux prendre 2 chiens si ils habitent ensemble et ont l’habitude de marcher ensemble). En général, je pars pour environ 2 heures pour mon tour habituel, mais je m’adapterai aux besoins de chaque chien. Toute fois, je souhaite faire un bonne marche, je ne me contente pas d’un “petit tour dans le quartier”.

I’m looking for a dog friend to walk up the Mont Royal with me!

Hi! I’m Gaelle, a 47-year-old mom whose children have left home. I have a lifelong love and experience for dogs, but I can’t care for a dog in my small apartment. However, I love dogs very much and I love making them happy. I have earned the affection of dogs from shelters who suffered a lot in their previous life. Whatever they need I will provide with great attention and respect.

Everyday, I walk up the Mont Royal (on the East side) and I would love to share my walk with a doggy friend in need for exercise.

I would also like to say that I am not doing this for money. All my earnings would be donated to dog shelters around the province, and in France.

I am open to various schedules, but will walk only 1 dog at a time (I can take 2 if they come from the same home and are used to walking together). Usually, I need up to 2 hours to do my walk. However, I will adapt myself to each dog and their needs. Keep in mind I’m looking for a longer walk, not just a "round-the-block” short trip.
