Nora

Hi there! I'm Nora (she/her) and I'd love to tell you a bit about myself. 

Currently
I'm a student at the University of Ottawa studying International Development and Globalization and I've been living in the glebe for a few months now and it's been a wonderful experience. I live in a two bedroom apartment with my wonderful roommate who is also female and is a huge animal lover. this apartment is only one floor up from the ground which is perfect for transportation. It is also big enough for medium size dogs and any type of dog bred for smaller spaces. I do not own any pets of my own besides my 3 small fish in a 10 gallon (With lid). The apartment is one big open space besides the two bedrooms and bathroom. There is a couch for hiding (if you're a cat) and enough ground space to lie on or put a dog bed. There is also a lovely ledge by the window that your cat will definitely enjoy with the view of Landsdowne. There isn't a backyard which really sucks but there is a huge park just down the street! I love going on walks so your dog will get plenty of exercise. Your pet will very likely never be alone since my roommate works from home and does school online. The only time I'll be gone is for class, 2h maximum (but starting sept 7th).

Experience

I've grown up with pets my entire life (You've probably heard this a lot but that's why we're all here!). I've had cats, dogs, Guinea pigs/hamsters, and so many fish! I've always liked being surrounded by animals and having something to take care of so that's why I'm here :) 

I'm so glad apps such as these exist so that pets can get the care they need while their owners are on vacation and not be put in a cage for a few days. 

Preference
I'm hoping to set up a small "get to know each other" beforehand to make sure everything is a good fit for yourself, your pet and myself. I want everyone to be comfortable. This is only truly mandatory if they will be staying in my apartment for an amount of time.

For dogs, my roommate and I have a preference for hypoallergenic adult/senior dogs for our health code.
