Hi there!

My name is Danielle, and I've lived in Calgary since 2019. Currently, I work in the Nutrition department at Foothills Hospital. I'm an active individual, and whether it's playing volleyball, scuba diving, or a quick mountain getaway for some skiing or hiking, I'm always looking for something to do. This is only part of what makes me a great candidate to care for your dog(s) while you're away, no matter how energetic they are!

I have 1.5 years of experience volunteering with dogs at the Edmonton Humane Society. During this time I interacted with dogs who have behavioural concerns, injuries, and/or dietary restrictions. I also grew up with large, high-energy dogs, including a border collie/Australian cattle dog mix, a Siberian husky/rough collie mix, and a husky/German shepherd mix.

I have experience walking more than 1 dog at a time, feeding dogs with different dietary requirements (including allergies), providing medications and ultimately showing your dogs the attention they need while you're away! I am comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and sizes.

Additionally, I am only working part time at the moment, so I have a flexible schedule and availablility to look after pets.

Let me tell you a bit about the services I offer! I offer dog-sitting services with 1 or 2 visits daily, where each visit is approx. 1 hour. I also offer house-sitting services where I will stay at your home with your pet(s). I have previously house-sat for cat, dog and even fish-owners!

For house-sitting I will be at home with your pet for the majority of the day (and of course the night). The exception is on days that I work, where I will be away for approx. 9 hours. However, this can be discussed prior to booking!

For these reasons, I would love to provide my dog and/or cat sitting services for you and your furry best friends!
