Hi there! My name is Danielle, and I moved to Vancouver in 2023 as a PhD student at UBC. I've been pet-sitting with Pawshake since 2016 in Edmonton and Calgary, and am excited to continue here in Vancouver!

I previously volunteered with dogs at the Edmonton Humane Society for 1.5 years where I interacted with dogs who had behavioural concerns, injuries, and/or dietary restrictions. I also grew up with large, high-energy dogs, including a border collie/Australian cattle dog mix, a Siberian husky/rough collie mix, and a husky/German shepherd mix. I am comfortable walking 2 dogs at a time, feeding dogs and cats with different dietary requirements (including allergies), providing medications and doing everything I can to give your pets the attention they need while you're away! I am comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes.

Let me tell you a bit about the services I can offer. I'm available for pet-sitting services with 1 or 2 visits daily, where each visit is approx. 1 hour. I also offer house-sitting services where I will stay at your home with your pet(s). I have previously house-sat for cat, dog and even fish-owners! When you book me for house-sitting, I will be at home with your pet for the majority of the day outside of working times (and of course the night). But don't stress, your expectations and my availability can be discussed prior to booking!
