🐾 Hi, my name is Mel. I'm an 18 year old university student studying life sciences with the goal of becoming a veterinarian in the near future. My friends would describe me as a patient, open minded individual with a love for learning.

🐾 I'm available this summer and on weekends and to visit/care for your pet! I have grown up with animals my whole life and have a good amount of experience handling pets of different kinds. Both my parents have a master's degree in agriculture and have inspired my deep love for science and the natural world. 

🐾 I live in the Scarborough area in a home shared with my cat and fishes. Please feel free to contact me if I seem like the right fit for your furry (or scaly!) friend.

⚠️ Please note that I am not comfortable handling your pet if they are overly aggressive. Shy/timid animals are perfectly fine. For safety concerns, please make sure your pet is free from fleas and is up to date on their vaccines/medication.

🐰🐶 SERVICES OFFERED:
- Home Visits: I visit your pet at home once or twice a day and provide them with quality time as well as check on their food and water, refilling if needed. It can be a quick drop in, or house sitting for a few hours. If I am house-sitting, I can also take dogs out for a walk.

- Dog Walks: Let me take your pup for a walk around the neighborhood or park! Provide cleanup bags as well as any of their favorite treats and toys. Walks will be around 20-30 minutes but can be adjusted according to your pet's preference.

- Pet Boarding [SMALL ANIMALS ONLY]: Going away for more than a few days? I can look after your pet in my own home, making sure they are never left alone for very long. Make sure to bring their enclosure as well as food, bedding (if required), toys and treats (if required). Small animals will be safe in a quiet room of the house where they can settle in with minimal stress.
