My name is Jenny and cats have surrounded me since I was young. Since I was eight years old, I was notoriously known as the “cat girl” for having taken on the task of caring for stray/feral cats in my neighbourhood. These years shaped me into the person I am today and ten years later, I still prioritize surrounding myself with cats and animals today. I recently moved from North York to downtown Toronto and want to reignite my childhood role of “cat girl” in my new neighbourhood!
I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your pet! Especially to help out as you head off on a work trip, visit family, or take a much-needed vacation away from home. I'll make sure to give you peace of mind, and your pet a vacation of their own :)
Availability:
I am currently working a full time hybrid position as a Fashion Intern and as a part-time as a seamstress. While I am working 2 jobs, my hybrid working schedule makes my schedule flexible to accommodate you and your pet's needs with at least 3 days' notice.
Home Visits:
I can offer 30-45 mins of my time for each home visit. If my availability allows, extended visits may be accommodated with an additional fee. During my visits, I will feed, clean pet dishes, change the water, clean litter box(es), clean pet (accidental) messes, and offer play time and cuddles. I can also water plants, bring in mail/packages, and do other small tasks if requested.
Work/Education:
Currently, I work as a full time fashion Intern and a part-time seamstress for a Textile Company and am looking for opportunities to foster cats and eventually be a permanent home for a lovely senior cat in need of a forever home.
*Note for owners: I am only taking on local clients within downtown Toronto!

Working with Jenny was such a pleasure! Patient, conscientious, gentle, and thorough, she offers everything you could want from a pet-sitter. We have an older cat who is shy, but needs a medicated cream daily. Jenny had an intuitive sense for how to put our little guy at ease, and she was able to get him comfortable with his medication during her first visit. Reliable updates, daily summaries, and photos (and occasional videos!) kept me feeling confident while I was away. I highly recommend Jenny, and I look forward to working with her again in the future!
