Hello!
My name is Tessa. I am a caring and compassionate 28 year old with a love for all animals! Thank you for
considering me as your pet and/or home sitter.
I have 11 years experience working and volunteering in a shelter with all types of animals including wildlife, small animals, cats and dogs. I have worked with and have fostered animals that come from a variety of backgrounds and have worked with animals ranging from young orphans to seniors. I am very experienced with shy/fearful cats and am familiar with dog behaviours such as fearful dogs and dogs with handling sensitivities. I can administer oral, topical and injectable medications and I am knowledgable about different medical conditions. I have attended many seminars/conferences on animal care.
I have 5 pets of my own—3 dogs and 2 cats. My youngest is a 5 month old Chihuahua that I recently completed puppy kindergarten with! My Australian Cattle Dog is reactive on leash, so I understand how to work with this type of behaviour. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your animals under someone else’s care and can assure you I will treat them as if they were my own.
I promise to provide only the best care and hope that you will choose me to care for your furry friends!
Services include:
•For cats: 30 minute visit to feed, scoop litter boxes, administer medication (if required) and play time. *available from 6 am to 7 am and/or after 4:30 pm Monday to Saturday (more availability every second weekend when I am off for 3 days) and available all day Sunday*
•For dogs: 30 minute visit to feed, walk, playtime and administer medication (if required)
