Hi! My name is Cody and I am a long time dog owner and experienced sitter! I had my dog for eleven years, a large high energy boy, and we lived going on adventures together. I love all animals, and regularly sit for my friends when they go out of town. I'm comfortable taking high or low energy dogs, I work from home so I'll always be with them, and there are plenty of paths and trails around me for adventures, as well as several dog parks nearby if that is something you or your dog are interested in exploring.
I have experience with both large and small breed dogs, as well and puppies and senior dogs.
I have cared for dogs with special medical needs, and special dietary needs, as well as those with food and environmental allergies. I'm very flexible to meet your requirements, and will always do my best to keep your faithful companion happy and entertained while looking after them, as well as sticking to a schedule that they are used to.
I'm an avid walker, typically doing several kilometers per day, my favourite route goes down by the Rideau canal, and is roughly 4 kilometers long. I'm used to taking a long walk in the morning, a short walk in the afternoon, a long walk after dinner and another short walk before bed. There's always room for longer adventures on the weekend, and I'll be happy to take your best friend on a hike if that is something you think they would enjoy
