Availability:

I'm available to visit your pet once or twice per day, anytime after 5:00 PM or before 8:00 AM on Mondays to Fridays. On the weekends and holidays, I am much more flexible and widely available! Please let me know what times work best for your pet's regular routines.

I highly recommend my 60-minute visit option. This extended time allows me to move at your cat's pace, monitor them more closely, and provide the deep companionship they miss while you're away. It’s perfect for both the 'scaredy cats' who need a patient friend to just sit nearby and for those rambunctious kitties who need active play time and zoomies.

About me:

I have 18 years of work experience in the field of animal health and care, including as a veterinary assistant at a small animal clinic, an animal care staff member at a BC SPCA shelter, and an office manager at an animal health laboratory. This professional background has given me a deep understanding of animal behaviour and well-being. I am proficient in medicine administration for a variety of needs and can handle pets with a wide range of personalities. I am also Fear Free Certified, which means I am trained to reduce stress, anxiety, and fear in pets during their care.

I am committed to treating every animal as if they were my own. My approach is always to create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment so your pet feels secure and loved while you're away. You can have peace of mind knowing that your furry family member is in the hands of a dedicated, reliable, and knowledgeable individual with a genuine passion for their well-being.

A typical visit:

I let your cat set the pace! If they are social, I'll be ready to greet them with head scratches and offering pets. If they’re shy, I’ll provide a calm presence until they feel safe to hang out with me on their own time. Of course, offering up lots of treats is a must for both types of kitty personalities!

Please let me know their favourite foods and treats, the types of toys and play they enjoy, and their comfort level for handling, petting, or grooming. Your cat's comfort and health are my top priority.
