About Me: pet owners keep saying that I "go above and beyond" their expectations.

Maybe it helps that I'm a writer who likes to work from home, so housepets have day & night company and attention from me. I pay attention to detail, so your furry friend(s) will be well cared for and monitored with love. I do live-in pet sitting, so your pet stays in their own home and comforting environment. I'm a great fit for pets who have anxiety or need people around to feel secure.

I'm an ideal live-in pet sitter. In my clients' homes I follow the instructions I am given by the pet owner. I like to share updates, like pet photos/video with owner(s) so they feel connected while away from their fur baby ♥ Pet owners tell me that my photos and videos help them to relax on holiday or while they are working away. I am living in the Plateau-Mont-Royal area, but a recent cat sit I did was in Verdun and I was fine with that area. I am good with one to two cats. I prefer taking care of one dog at a time. I have experience giving pet meds. My French is not great, but I am sure if you want to book me we can work around any language issues with Google. 

Cats: I love to engage cats in play and often create fun cut-out boxes for them, or scrunch up paper bags for them to find their toys in. I do very well with shy cats and cats that like to have their own space. I have given medications to cats before for example, stomach medication, puffer medication for breathing, and anxiety medication to cats for relaxation.  

Dogs: I stick to the schedule when it comes to walking and make sure to take dogs to the places they like and also vary the walking route to keep them stimulated. I never take a dog off leash. I have never had a bad incident with walking a dog. I have walked dogs using different types of leashes and harnesses and am comfortable with using different types of leases. 

I have experience dealing with food obsessed animals and I always follow the feeding instructions of pet owners. 

I follow the routine of pet owners to keep pets feeling confident and comfortable. Sticking to a regular routine or schedule is helpful to both pets and myself. 

Daily routine is followed from instructions given by pet owner. With dogs it may be between 2 to 4 walks per day. With outdoor cats it may be keeping a regular in and out routine, and having cat inside by a certain time of evening. Keeping to the feeding schedule and making sure my time away from pet's home is no more than a few hours. 

My references are excellent and I am known as a trustworthy and reliable person by pet owners.
