Hi, I’m Usha!

I've grown up with dogs, and they have always been one of the best parts of my life. I genuinely enjoy helping every dog feel comfortable, safe and loved, especially while their humans are away.

Every dog is a main character, and I treat each one as an individual. I’ll follow your dog’s routine closely, whether that includes walks, playtime or quiet cuddles at home.

I have two dogs of my own: Shadow, a spunky Pomeranian mix, and Damon, a playful pit bull, so I understand how different personalities, energy levels, and routines can be.

I have also volunteered at the Edmonton Humane Society, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes and temperaments. Through my volunteer work and previous pet-sitting experience, I have developed a strong understanding of dog behaviour and welfare. With previous dog-sitting experience, I’m patient, attentive, and reliable, so you can trust that your dog will be happy, relaxed and yes, maybe a little spoiled! 🤓

I’m currently a PhD candidate in Animal Microbiology at the University of Alberta, and working with animals has always been an important part of my life. I’m generally available on weekday evenings, weekends and holidays, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule.

A little note when booking: For families with more than one pet, or for bookings that require extended travel, the total price may be adjusted accordingly. I’ll always discuss this with you in advance, so that everything is clear and comfortable for both of us before the booking is confirmed 🙂
