Hey there!

My name is Brittney. In April 2021, I graduated from University of Calgary by completing my after-degree in Education. I have recently earned a continuous full-time teaching contract with the CBE. I will be teaching Grade 1 in NE Calgary for the 2024-2025 school year. One of my interests includes swimming as I used to be a competitive swimmer and coached for a number of years. My other interests include yoga and reading. I also love to travel, so I understand the need to have peace of mind when going away and leaving a pet behind. I had a dog as a kid, however my main passion is cats. I have always wanted a cat since I was a kid, but my parents were allergic. About 7 years ago, I finally adopted a cat with my boyfriend from the Central Alberta Humane Society in Red Deer before moving to Calgary. She unfortunately passed away in early August. We adopted a cat at the end of October 2024, naming her Honey. We are so happy to have a cat in our lives again!

Services that I offer include visits for your cat. I am located in central SW Calgary, so I am able to offer single home visits within a reasonable distance of the central SW area. I offer double day visits for the included areas: Rosscarock, Wildwood, Strathcona Park, Killarney, Glenbrook, Signal Hill, Glamorgan, South Calgary areas. Since I am working in the NE during the school year (just off Memorial), I would be open to providing services in that area as well. If you are questioning whether or not I offer services in your area, feel free to shoot me a message and we can figure things out! My home visits will be a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour. During my home visit, I will provide fresh water and food, clean litter boxes, and of course give your kitty some love! With my busy work as a teacher, I only offer single visits during the week. Weekday single visits will occur around supper time/after school hours. On weekends that I am available, I offer 2x visits as well as single visits; however, will only be taking 1 booking at a time during the school year. With my experience of having a cat of my own, I am confident I can provide the care that your cat needs while you are away.
