Hi there, I'm Lukas from Germany. As a experienced workaway and petsit traveler, I’ve had the chance to care for several homes and beloved pets in Canada since June 2025. It’s been an incredibly fulfilling experience so far, I have already worked with 20+ hosts on totally different projects or did petsitting jobs. Each stay was a unique experience.

I take pride in being gentle, reliable, and tuned in to each animal’s unique personality. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cuddles, or keeping the house clean and cozy, I treat every place as if it were my own. I love creating a calm and loving environment for pets while pet parents are away, and I’m always happy to help with extra tasks like watering plants or garden work. Thanks to my calm nature in particular, animals warm up to me very quickly, even if they´re anxious around strangers.
In September 2025, I spent an entire month volunteering at an animal farm sanctuary, where I learned a great deal about rescued animals and those with special needs. It was a deeply enriching experience that expanded my understanding of (blind) sheep, goats, horses, cats, dogs, piggies, chickens, roosters, turkeys, ducks, and geese. I care deeply about treating every animal with respect and love, and I always take time to understand their unique personalities and needs.
