Hello!

I am a 32-year-old female cat sitter located in Montgomery, and the proud mum of two of my own cats, Jasper and Oryx :)

I have done lots of volunteer work with animals, but mostly I'm just an animal lover, who is happy to spend time with anybody's pets! Professionally, I do consulting work on contract, sometimes working from home, so I have a flexible schedule, some spare time, and I'm sure I can accommodate most requests.

As a pet owner, I've been through all the stress of leaving your pets at home, worrying what could happen to them or your house while you are away, wondering if you accidentally left something out that you shouldn't have, worrying that one of them will eat something they shouldn't, and all that fun stuff. I used to board my cats (and at a really awesome place) but they were always unhappy to be displaced, it was a huge ordeal, they are confined to a small space, the kitty litter is different (which is a pretty big deal), they often made themselves sick, and my dominant cat would suffer greatly. After I started leaving them at home and having someone come here daily to check on them, travelling away from home has been a completely different experience for me. Knowing that I'll come home to two happy cats, knowing I don't have to pack them up and take them to "the cat place," knowing that they have their own food and their own litter, knowing that at least once a day a person will be at my house to check on them... home visits for pets is by far the best option for us! It's for those reasons that I started using Pawshake as both a customer and service offering.

While I accept that a great many felines are majestic, independent loners, I hope that your cats like me!
