📢 A little note for pet parents: I typically care for dogs up to 10kg, as my experience and home are best suited for smaller dogs. Pawshake currently doesn’t offer an option for dogs up to 10kg, so I’ve selected the 8-18kg range as the closest available option. Please note that my actual maximum weight is 10kg.

PET CARE EXPERIENCE:

Hello, I’m Catherine! I started caring for dogs for family and friends in 2022, and over the years I realized how much I truly enjoy it. That eventually led me to get my own dog, Summer, in 2024. She’s currently 2 years old and is a Bichon-Shih Tzu mix who is very friendly and loves meeting new dogs. Having a dog of my own has taught me so much about their care, behaviour, and different personalities. I’m excited to continue learning, get to know more dogs and their different personalities, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me.

SCHEDULE:

🧳☀️ FOR DOG BOARDING & DOGGY DAY CARE:

I work from home, which allows me to keep a close eye on your dog throughout the day and give them lots of attention, companionship, and care. I'm experienced with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and following each dog's usual schedule to help them feel relaxed and at home.

🐾 FOR DOG WALKING:

My regular availability for dog walking is every Monday! Your dog is welcome to join my dog, Summer, and I accept a maximum of 2 other dogs, each 10kg or less, so I can comfortably manage all 3 and prioritize their safety. I’ll take them around the nearby parks, including dog-friendly areas where they can safely run, play, and enjoy some off-leash time when appropriate. I may open additional days when my schedule allows, but Mondays will be my permanent availability for now. If you’re looking for someone to walk your dog every Monday, feel free to reach out!

🐾 FOR DOG WALKING:

Your dog’s safety is always my priority. I’ll keep a close eye on every dog throughout the walk and choose safe, dog-friendly parks and walking areas. I’ll also make sure the dogs are comfortable with each other and supervised at all times, especially when they’re playing together.

A TYPICAL DAY ROUTINE FOR DOG BOARDING & DOGGY DAY CARE:

I love keeping dogs active, engaged, and happy! At home, I have a few interactive brain toys and enrichment puzzles that help provide mental stimulation, and your dog is welcome to enjoy them alongside my dog. We go on three walks a day.. a morning and afternoon walk that each last at least 25 minutes or so, plus a shorter 10 mins. walk before bedtime. I like to switch up our routes so we're not walking in the same area every time, giving the dogs new sights, smells, and places to explore. On nice days, we may visit a nearby beach, explore a dog-friendly mini trail, or check out different parks around the neighborhood. Between walks, there will be lots of supervised playtime, cuddle breaks, and downtime so your dog stays happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day.

INFORMATION I'D LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR PET:

Before accepting a booking, I’d like to see your dog’s latest vaccination record to help keep your dog and my own dog safe and protected, especially since they’ll be spending time together and going on walks where they may encounter other dogs. I’d also like to know about your dog’s behaviour, personality, and anything else I should be aware of to make sure I can provide the best care possible.
