Hello Pet Lovers! 

My name is Kate, and I have over 20 years of experience in caring for big and small dogs including, 120lbs Newfoundlands, Labradors, dalmatians, poodles and terriers. I'm also a calm and responsible Special Education Teacher who will treat your furry companion with the utmost care and respect they deserve.

Growing up, my home was always full of rescue animals: dogs, birds, hamsters, a rabbit, a guinea pig, and fish. For me, these animals were not just pets, they were family members. Therefore, I truely understand just how important your companion is to you, and you can trust that they will be in good hands. 

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and running, so I would be honoured to take your special companion on a stroll (or run at their pace, if requested) to their favourite park or familar walking route. For those with larger dogs, I'm 5'8" and fit, so your dog will also be in strong hands.

I’m also available to make home visits, and I’m comfortable administering medications and caring for animals who are unwell, injured or older. If you would like a home visit, I will also treat your home with the utmost care and respect. The only homes I am unable to visit are ones with cats due to allergies (Sorry!)

Why am I interested in pet sitting? Well, my main motivation is simply to have some animal company in my life again as my current home does not permit pets. (And yes, unfortunately, because of this, I am not able to board any pets at this point in time.)
