The dogs have a good time with us... we'll reassure nervous owners!
Previously with another company in the U.S. for many years, we thought it important to offer our services on a Canadian website.
You will get regular pictures of your pets stay with us!
Located right in downtown Toronto steps away from St. James Park where your pooch will go for three or four walks a day.Myself, John, has had dogs for over forty years. I’m retired so your pooch will only be left alone in rare circumstances. Koichi is working but will supply all kinds of cuddles and lavish loads of affection on your pooch.Your pup will have a free run of the apartment and also see what’s going on from our small balcony. At night your pooch will have ‘goodnight cuddles’ on the bed but be expected to sleep on a dog bed afterwards, although even that sometimes gets forgotten! We’ll maintain the feeding/treat schedule you already have so your pooch will feel comfortable. You’ll be able to go on vacation knowing your dog is being looked after just like our own. We’ll send you regular photo updates to let you know how they are doing.I am retired, so your pet will only be left alone for the occasional grocery shopping spree or maybe an evening dinner out—a maximum of two or three hours. Our apartment is dog-friendly, i.e. allowed on the sofa! I believe our reviews will reassure those nervous owners that your pup will be in good hands in a safe environment.

I've taken care of dogs of every kind most of my life, and I love all animals. I will be able to walk, feed, play with, bathe, your pets and even administer medication(s) if required. I will treat your pup(s) friend like a family member as if they were my own. There are lovely parks in the area and I also have a car to take them to off leash parks in the area. Over the years I have I also volunteered with various rescue organizations and I have taken care of many dogs for both family and friends.
I have an open home, and accept dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and ages, and don't have a dog in my home at present, (which is ideal for dogs that may require solo care). There are lots of parks in the area and paths we can walk through together, and lots of other pups in the area to play with, (if your pup is good with other dogs).
Pups are allowed on my furniture and I encourage it. I do however, go by your pup's program, schedule and what you wish. They will be walked every 3-4 hours and also they will be fed based on their current schedule. As I am alone in my apartment, I am able to devote all my time on your pup. The longest I would ever be out of my home is 2 hours however, because I am primarily home, that won't be very frequently.
I have a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. I do not have any plants only artificial which are out of reach. I have a very dog friendly apartment. The building is very dog friendly. I also have an elevator in case your pup doesn't like stairs.
I have a balcony which has artificial grass and also I have places for your pup to sit and enjoy a little sunbathing. I will never leave your pup unattended on the balcony.
Before I accept any dog, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet, so make sure we all get along, and so if you think I might be a great fit, please contact me, and let's have a chat!

Hi! I have cared for up to five cats at the same time, making sure each one received individual attention, feeding, fresh water, playtime and affection. I also have experience doing drop-in visits at friends’ homes to feed their pets, clean up after them, play with them and make sure everything is okay while their owners are away.
In addition to cat care, I have around two years of experience walking dogs. During walks, I pay attention to each dog’s pace, energy level and surroundings, and make sure they have enough time for exercise, sniffing and bathroom breaks. I always keep dogs safely on leash, avoid situations that may make them uncomfortable, and follow the owner’s usual walking routine and instructions as closely as possible.
I understand that every pet has their own personality, habits and comfort level. Some pets want lots of attention and playtime, while others need more space and time to warm up. I’m patient and happy to adjust my approach to what makes your pet feel safest and most comfortable. During visits, I can help with feeding, refreshing water, litter box cleaning, playtime, walks, companionship and keeping an eye out for any changes in your pet’s behaviour or wellbeing.
I’m responsible, patient and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pet needs a nice walk, some playtime, a meal, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’d love to help.
I work freelance, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for drop-in visits and dog walks throughout the day. Whether your pet needs an early morning visit, a midday walk or playtime, or evening care, I’m usually able to accommodate different schedules.
