dogWalking

Hi! I’m Sara, a 28-year-old researcher at UBC who absolutely loves spending time with animals. Dog walking is more than just a hobby for me—it’s a way to relax, stay active, and enjoy the outdoors after work. I’ve lived with dogs for years and know how much love, patience, and consistency they need. I’m caring, gentle, and responsible, and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Whether your furry friend prefers calm, easy walks or energetic adventures, I’ll take him for a 30 minutes walk in the park and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy at all times. I’m punctual and trustworthy, and I always pay attention to small details like pacing, water breaks, and leash safety. You can count on me to treat your dog with the same care, affection, and respect I’d give my own. Every walk is a chance to build trust, joy, and friendship—with both dogs and their owners.

Hi, I’m Paty! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a genuine passion for caring for furry companions of all kinds. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of compassion, patience, and responsibility, and those values continue to guide the care I provide today.
I’ve had the joy of looking after dogs, cats, rabbits, and more, and I treat every animal I meet with the same love and respect I’d give my own. Pet sitting isn’t just a side gig for me, it’s something I truly enjoy. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s hands, which is why I focus on creating a calm, reliable, and loving environment.
Whether your pet needs a quiet companion, an energetic walk, or a friendly face to drop in during the day, I’m here to help. I offer dog walking and drop-in home visits, always tailored to your pet’s unique personality and needs. You can count on regular updates, photos, and lots of love while you're away. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

Hi! I’m Franzi, a total dog enthusiast who recently landed in Vancouver from Germany to try new things, explore my passions, and discover new adventures. I’ve been around pets forever - birds, rodents, and of course dogs! I started walking my neighbor’s dog when I was 10 and later had my own, an Australian Shepherd girl for 14 years. We did everything together: walks, agility, playtime… and even handled her epilepsy as she got older. That thought me about of patience, responsibility and how to care for dogs with different needs.
I absolutely love spending time with dogs, playing, cuddling, and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I’m reliable (yes, the German in me!) and punctual, and I bring energy, positivity, and lots of attention to every dog I meet. I love running and hiking, which is even more fun with a furry friend.
Moving to Vancouver is all about trying new things and embracing experiences that make me grow. Volunteering as a dog walker or sitter is the perfect way for me to connect with animals, meet fellow dog lovers, and have fun while helping owners feel confident that their pups are in good hands.
Whether it’s a quick walk, a long adventure, or just some extra love, I’m excited to bring joy and care to every furry friend I meet!

Hi! My name is Harry and I have always had a deep love and respect for both dogs and cats. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my life with many pets who have brought me immense joy and companionship. Among the dog breeds I’ve cared for are German Shepherds, Huskies, Labradors, Schnauzers, Cocker Spaniels, Dalmatians, and Fox Terriers, each with their unique personalities and needs. Similarly, I’ve been fortunate to have several cats, ranging from the playful and energetic to those who simply enjoy offering quiet, comforting companionship. For me, caring for pets goes beyond feeding and walking them; it’s about understanding their individual needs, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being, and treating them as part of the family. I recognize the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I am committed to providing the same love and attention I give to my pets. Whether playful or reserved, every animal deserves a caregiver who will prioritize their happiness and health, and that’s exactly what I strive to offer.

Hi there! My name is Kayla , and I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals of all kinds. From caring for my own pets to helping friends and family with theirs, I’ve always found joy in making sure animals feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.

My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from the belief that pets deserve just as much comfort and attention as people do when their routine changes. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or cuddles on the couch, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your fur baby with someone new, which is why I prioritize trust, transparency, and communication every step of the way.

Yes, I do have experience! I’ve cared for both cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including seniors and pets with special needs. I’m also fully committed to health and safety, so I only accept vaccinated pets into my home.

If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, I’m your sitter!

My approach is tailored to each pet’s unique personality, ensuring a positive and effective training experience.Additionally, my experience as a Veterinary Assistant has given me valuable skills in pet health and safety, including administering medications, monitoring animal well-being, and handling emergency situations. Whether it’s daily walks, in-home pet sitting, or structured training, I prioritize the comfort, safety, and happiness of every pet in my care. We live in a spacious 2 bedroom condo with a big patio in the Brentwood area. I work as a financial analyst in a tech company, and currently work from home 100% of the time. I will ensure your dogs have all the attention they deserve. My mum is retired and staying with me at the moment, she loves dogs very much too and have one cute boy poodle. We will ensure our company and best attention for your dogs.
I grew up having dogs at home and genuinely love them. The breeds I had growing up include German Shepherd, poodle, border collie and small mixed breed.
Currently at home we have a 3 year old well trained poodle Japanese Spitz mixed boy, Tyson. Tyson is friendly like an angel once you get to know him, although he can get a little defensive at the beginning. He is neutered and fully vaccinated.
Last but not least, we look forward to meeting you and your dogs, taking care of them and enjoying our time together! :) We are doing dog walking daycare and overnight, so let us know!

Hello! I'm Dayanna and I have been taking care of dogs my whole life. My first dog was called Julie and she came to me when I was 5 years old. We grew older together, we made many amazing memories, other dogs joined the family and I already had 10 dogs at the same time! It was a lot of fun and I never felt so much love for those amazing creatures. I'm 27 years old now, carrying a life of experience with pets from dogs to hamsters, and ready to help you with your pet!
I'm a reliable, responsible, punctual professional. I have experience in walking dogs, feeding, medicating, giving baths and playing! I'm comfortable taking care of any ages and breeds. I'm also a cat lover! I have once rescued a kitty who now found an amazing adoptive family! I gave the kitty (now called Dhaka) all the vitamins to grow strong and healthy, we played a lot together and loved each other very much.
I'm available for taking your pets in walks, some visits during the day, holidays visits, sleepovers. Unfortunately I won't be able to host a pet.
I'm from Brazil, currently a college student in Canada. I currently have two dogs back at home in Brazil, and they are the loves of my life! They are Kate and Fred, 8 yo and 7 yo.
Hope you find my profile and send me a message! Looking forward to helping you with your beloved friend!

Hi everyone ! We’re Manaka and Alam, a couple located near by Joyce Collingwood station. Our passion for dogs brought us here, as our apartment doesn’t allow us to have one of our own. But here’s the good news: we live close to some fantastic parks frequently visited by joyful dogs, making it a perfect setting for dog-walking!

Also
	•	We have some good experiences with pets. Back in our hometowns of Guadalajara & Shizuoka, we’ve loved and cared for our own dogs: Lucky, a friendly Shiba; Mafalda, a bit of a grumpy Shih-tzu; and Draco, an adorable Labrador.
	•	We’re keen to offer our services to dogs in the nearby area since we unfortunately can’t have pets in our apartment.
	•	We’re adaptable and can take care of various dog personalities and sizes, but for a smooth experience, we prefer pups that aren’t too problematic.

Got questions or specific requests? Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re here to help and ensure your pup gets the best care possible.

Warm regards,
Manaka and Alam

As a passionate animal lover, the most important aspect of sharing experiences with non-human animals is to do it without discrimination. The most wonderful thing I've learned from my experiences, is the forgiveness that traumatized nonhuman animals have towards humans through my experience at the cat sanctuary. I also strongly believe there are no "bad" animals, beings can choose to learn and grow no matter what their past experiences. Through my experiences I have learned and grown, seeing the beauty in every interaction I have with nonhuman animals. As a pet sitter, I want to learn and grow with you and your companions, providing unbiased and inclusive care for you and them!My experience includesVolunteering at RAPS cat sanctuary in Richmond since 2022Overnight care of my siblings 3 cats for 1 week in December 2022Daily drop in care of 3 rats for 3 days this July between the 7-9thFor references please request directly as I need to ask permission to give out personal numbers. My services include a wide range of animal care from birds, rodents, cat, dogs and more. I have experience with having dogs, cats, sugar gliders, rabbits, and birds as companions of my own. I also work with many different special requirements and needs such as oral medications, special diets etc. I can stay overnight as well as visit once or twice a day, and go on walks.
