Hello, I've been a vet technician in a small animal hospital in Burnaby for the past 5 years. I have a bachelor of science in applied animal biology from UBC, and have a deep love of cats. I do cat sitting on the side to help raise funds for vet school, and while I currently treat both dogs and cats at my current practice, I plan to specialize in cats once I'm a DVM.
I know how important routine is for cats, and can usually accommodate all care requests. Does your cat need medication twice a day? No problem. Does your fur baby need his teeth brushed, hair combed, and 1 hour of bird watching daily? You got it.
My clients normally ask me to stay at their home overnight while they are away, which I'm totally comfortable with. I also house sit/water plants at the same time for no extra fee. If your cat is pretty independent and only needs me to pop in a few hours a day, that's no problem either.
I do still work a full time job, so I wouldn't be able to stay with your cat 24/7. I am trained in feline CPR and have my own vehicle to dive your cat to the hospital in case of emergencies. If you have any questions or would like references, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Vanessa is a great find. I felt comfortable with her in my home while I was away and will certainly hope that she is available if we go away again. It was a bonus to know that she plans to become a cat vet!
