"Sina was fantastic with visiting our two cats for a month! He sent consistent photos every day, and random videos where it was very evident how much they liked him, even our more shy cat. "Kristen is a fantastic cat sitter! I left my cat, Ella, in her care for six days, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Kristen was attentive and thoughtful, providing regular updates and photos showing how Ella was gradually warming up to her. What impressed me most was how quickly Kristen built trust with Ella, who can be shy with new people.
At the start of the visits, Ella was cautious and stayed under the bed, but Kristen patiently gained her trust with treats and gentle interactions. By the end of the week, Ella was confidently approaching Kristen, rubbing against her hand, and even sitting nearby while eating—clear signs that Kristen made her feel safe and comfortable. Kristen's updates were detailed and reassuring, highlighting the progress in their bond each day. It was heartwarming to see Ella so relaxed and happy.
Kristen also showed great attention to detail and care for my home. She ensured Ella was well-fed and that her space was clean and comfortable. When she realized she had left one of Ella’s dishes soaking in the sink, she promptly let me know and apologized—a small but meaningful sign of her professionalism.

"Since this was the first time my cats were left with non- family I was apprehensive about using a pet sitter however, Patricia proved to be awesome. "Colin looked after our two cats for several days, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. He truly has a gift with cats—our shyest one, who usually hides from visitors, quickly warmed up to him and came out of her shell. Each day, Colin sent us thoughtful updates with photos, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. The cats clearly enjoyed his visits and had a great time playing with their toys. Even before the sit, Colin impressed us by asking excellent questions and taking careful notes to make sure everything would go smoothly. We can’t recommend him highly enough!"

"Zoé is full of energy and love for our puppy and older dog. She also has tonnes of experience from working at a doggy daycare so seems to be able to anticipate and address all sorts of adjustment issues that she has seen develop in older dogs when not addressed earlier, then need work to overcome. She is helping our two dog household manage siblings who will hopefully get along well for years to come, nipping little habits early. "Hayley is a wonderful pet sitter who has been pit sitting for my cats for over 3 years (since spring 2017).
Most recently, I had hired Hayley to give pain medication to my cat Charlie who was recovering from a urinary blockage. Charlie was still having urinary problems (crying, urinating inappropriately, etc.), and Hayley asked if he had been checked for a UTI (urinary tract infection). Thanks to Hayley's intelligent question and information, I checked into whether Charlie had been given a urinalysis to check for a UTI.
I found Charlie had not been checked for a UTI by either the vets at the emergency clinic or the vet who was filling in for my usual vet (my usual vet had been on vacation). I then got in touch with my usual vet who prescribed antibiotics/ Charlie's UTI cleared up and he got better -- thanks to Hayley, who alerted me to a possibility of what might be causing my cat pain.
I am so very grateful to Hayley for going above and beyond with her service! Hayley is an incredibly conscientious, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful pet sitter, who I am happy to highly recommend!"

"Karina was excellent,
my cat took to her immediately and showed up for most visits during my absence (which is no guarantee). I got lots of communication and updates, some playtime and cuddling included. Upon my return, I found my cat well-fed and in a good mood.

"This was the first time we used Paw Shake to find a cat sitter, and i have to say we are totally satisfied.
I picked Emily out of many pet sitters listed, we were lucky.
Emily has been very professional from the start. She has been in touch with us throughout our vacation, and sent us some pictures of our cat during her visits.
