Loving family of four that would love to provide a comfortable place for your fur baby to stay. We currently do not have any pets, but as a family who has always had a pet in the house, we miss the company!We have two young children, ages 9 and 5 years old, so the dogs would have to be good with kids. They are both used to having dogs so they are gentle.We have a large, fully fenced in backyard with secured gates so there is no way for them to get out. We do have a pool but we have a safety cover and are not left unattended in the backyard. The yard has no dangerous plants as we have had dogs in the past along with our young children. We have plenty of space inside for the dogs to be amoung us. They can have free range of the house if you wish, or we have baby gates if you need them to be kept away from stairs for example. There are dog parks in our area as well.We have always had dogs; our parents have had dogs and cats as well. Some of the dogs we have owned are Greater Swiss mountain dog, Rottweiler, Cane Corso, Old English bulldog. We have also dog sat for friends for over 10 years but professionally for 6 years. We have had more than 100 dogs be in our care in that timeframe.They would be fed, given water, walked as directed (multiple short walks or fewer long walks… either is fine), played with, brushed, and be given comfortable sleeping spaces (they can sleep in our bedroom or any other preferred place in the house).Owner would have to provide essentials...eg. a dog bed (or crate if that's what they normally sleep in), dog bowls, food, toys, brush, and special blankets or comfort toys that they need.We will send pictures to you while you are gone so you can see that they are in good hands.I am 37 years old and a teacher by profession so I am home on weekends, all holidays, and during summer months. My husband works from home so between the two of us your pet will have constant attention. We would be accommodating to whatever routines and schedules you have in place for your fur baby to make the temporary separation from you as comfortable as possible. We only watch from one family at a time (ie. we would not care for one dog from one family and another dog from another family at the same time).I also have some experience with other pets. We used to own a savannah monitor, hamsters, and fish.
