Good day everyone!

My name is Lindsay. My whole life I have always had a strong connection with animals, whether it be cats, dogs, horses, any and every kind! I believe that animals are better than humans because they love unconditionally, they dont judge you (as long as you're a good person) and they just want to give love and be loved. They fill your heart with so much joy and happiness!

I have had pets for most of my life, ever since I was a little girl. I currently have 2 cats (Nutmeg and Reuben) and 1 dog (Monty). They all love eachother and are the best of friends. I have always said that my "dream job" would be to work with animals, as it is my passion! I have quite a bit of experience as a volunteer at the Calgary Humane Society and BC SPCA, assisting with puppy training classes, behavioral classes, walking the dogs and giving them lots of love until they find their forever homes.  

For the past 10+ years I have worked in the medical field as a doctor assistant (cardiology, rheumatology, sleep medicine) but I would love to pursue this opportunity to work with pets (even if it's just part time). Whether it's taking them for walks, hanging out and giving them pets and cuddles, or keeping their minds stimulated by playing catch etc. 

****My pet services are only available to be hosted at owners residence and/or walks in the park as well.****

Here is a more specific outline of what services I offer:

• Long walks (up to 2 hours at a time, $20 per half hour) or short walks ($10 per 15 minutes) but time can be altered depending on your preference and how much exercise your dog may need. No more than 3 dogs per household per booking time. If you provide a harness, I can walk your cat too! (Or hang out in the yard with him/her, as long as the harness is on).
• Overnight pet sitting (flexibility depending on how long you are away for, at $70 (overnight), $120 for full 24 hours, $40 for half day, or all day pet sitting (up to 10 hours per day). Price can be discussed based upon how long you need me there. My availability is very open (Monday through Sunday) as I have minimal commitments for the time being. (Subject to change to part time in September, but will give ample notice beforehand).
• I have some experience in dog/puppy behavioral training, so I can definitely help with that.
• Administering medicine orally, but if your vet has advised an alternative way, I am open to that too as long as I have specific instructions).
• Brushing your pets, removing matted fur, and giving baths. I do not have experience in full grooming yet (so no hair cuts).
• Cleaning up dog poop in the yard for an extra cost of $40, and ofcourse, I will pick up and dispose of it (no charge) while we are on walks. That's just a given, out of respectfulness and consideration.
