I work as a veterinary assistant and animal rescue volunteer, running Downy Diary Pet, a cat and dog boarding service. We only accept cats and dogs fully vaccinated and free of parasites, no infectious diseases. I specialize in low-stress pet care, with rigorous cleaning and sanitization protocols for the space to minimize risks of cross-contamination. Drawing on my professional training, I am skilled at reading pet body language, picking up on stress cues and emotional shifts, and understanding various behavioural signals. I have solid knowledge of animal health and can spot early warning signs in appetite, energy levels and litter/toileting habits. I go through a detailed pet intake questionnaire before boarding to learn about your pet’s routine, preferences and triggers While pets stay with me, I continuously monitor each guest and share regular updates with pet parents. I provide gentle care and comfort, helping pets stay relaxed and secure in an unfamiliar environment. Feel free to reach out for availability inquiries.
