NOTE ABOUT UPCOMING MONTHS
I have no upcoming travel plans, so will definitely be in town for the rest of the summer and autumn (though I am giving first priority to existing clients in the summer, especially for home boarding). There is a possibility that I might travel for a week in early December, but that is not confirmed (either way, I will still be available for bookings during the peak holiday season in late December and early January).
-----------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE ABOUT THE CURRENT GLOBAL CIRCUMSTANCES:
I am still available for cat-sitting, I take appropriate precautions when out and about and in clients' homes (hand washing, social distancing, wearing a mask when needed, etc.), and have received 3 doses of the Moderna vaccine.
If you are traveling and are unable to return on schedule due to travel bans, quarantines, etc, I will be happy to extend your booking for whatever time you need (just send me a message, and I'll tell you what you need to do).
Also, if you fall ill and require hospitalization and/or quarantine within the next few months, I will be happy to care for your cat during that time (either visits or boarding).
-----------------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE NOTE - I moved to my new place in 2019 (and planning to stay here for at least the next few years), and since this one is smaller than my old place on Clark Street, I cannot take on as many home boarding bookings as I used to - I need to give first priority to old/current clients (especially during the busiest times of the year such as summer and the Christmas/New-Years period).
As for visits, I can definitely take bookings from old and new clients, though I cannot promise anything if you are too far away from the Plateau area.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I live in a 4 1/2 in the Plateau with lots of space for a cat to wander/run around in, corners and enclosed/covered areas to hide in, and furniture (including cat trees) to climb/sit/lie down on.
I work freelance, so I spend a lot of time at home (great for kitties who get lonely when they're alone for too long) and am generally flexible when it comes to visits to your home.
I've cat-sat for friends (such as the owner of the white kitty above), temporarily adopted an old roommate's cat, and had many roommates in the past who also had cats.
Yes, I'm a crazy cat lady even though I do not currently have one of my own!
I DO NOT TAKE DOGS - even though I like them, I do not know them well enough to pet-sit them (the only reason I have "Home Dog Boarding" among my services is because there is no option for home cat or pet boarding).
I am also able to care for other small low-maintenance pets during home visits (I have some experience with fish, birds, rabbits, lizards, and geckos), though I cannot board them.
Whether your kitty stays with me at my place, or I go to your place to care for him/her, he/she will get lots of petting, cuddles, and playtime along with the essentials (food, water, litter scooping).
And most importantly - lots of love!
I am available to take bookings from new as well as old/current clients, anywhere accessible by metro (though keep in mind that I cannot promise anything if you are too far from the Plateau/Mile-End area).
Amelie was consistent with photos daily. Thank you again!
