ABOUT ME:

Hi. I am Leslie and am semi-retired, having lived and worked in North Van for over 35 years since moving from Alberta.  I worked as a medical transcriptionist for many years and have been very much enjoying pet sitting via Pawshake for the past few years.  I have always loved and had animals, including cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, and bunnies.  I especially love cats and am currently owned by a 22-year-old tortie who is a rescue kitty.  I love dogs as well and brought my 12-year-old dog with me to Vancouver when I first moved here and we had many fun hiking adventures before she passed.  Hobbies I most enjoy are beach walks and baking sourdough bread.  

I am dedicated to ensuring your pets are happy, properly cared for, and as stress-free as possible while in my care.  If you request one of my services (described below), I will message you to arrange a free short meet and greet in your home.  You can then book me after we meet.  I can also provide excellent references.  I look forward to hearing from you! 🐱

MY SERVICES:

Included with all services are daily text message or e-mail updates including photos and videos so you can be assured your pets are well and happy while in my care. I will also water plants, bring in mail,  and do other small tasks as requested.

🐾 ONE OR TWO PET VISITS DAILY: 

Each visit is 30 to 40 minutes in your home, where I will provide fresh food and water, clean litter and/or cages, and give your pet love and attention and play with them. 

🐾 HOUSE SITTING:

I will stay in your home overnight and during most of the daytime with your pet to care for them, including playing with them, providing fresh food and water, and cleaning litter or cages daily.

🦮 DOG WALKING:

Note:  I provide dog walking services for small and medium size dogs only, as I am not experienced with large dogs.  I also do not have a vehicle, so walks will be in your neighborhood only.

Each visit is 30 to 40 minutes in your neighborhood or yard, where I will give your dog(s) lots of love and exercise/playtime and time to do their business.  I can also provide fresh food and water before leaving.  Any age from puppy to senior is fine with me and i can give meds if your dog takes them in their food. You can request visits/walks for once or twice daily.
