Hi! My name is Miriam.

I moved to Canada five years ago, and since I can't spend as much time with my dog, I’d love to share my love and care with other dogs! 🐾
Back in Slovakia, I have a Bernese Mountain Dog who’s the funniest, most lovable companion. She’s still living with my parents, and I miss her so much! Before her, we had another Bernese dog with a different personality, but she was my first and most amazing, sensitive dog with great guarding skills. I was around animals whole my life. 

Over the years, I’ve gained plenty of experience with dogs. I’ve cared for neighbours’ dogs, from Japanese Spitzes to Newfoundlands. Right now, I’m looking after a young, energetic Labrador puppy. I’ve even cared for a cat with three kittens for two weeks – while I’m more of a dog lover, it was such a fun experience!

I can adapt to any dog’s needs, whether it’s training a playful puppy or providing gentle care for a senior dog. One of my most memorable experiences was caring for a 13-year-old Labrador with diabetes and earning the trust of a rescued, nervous Mexican dog. It took her a few days, but when she finally hugged me, it was a moment I’ll never forget.

I also have Pet First Aid training, so your furry friend will always be in safe hands. I know plenty of games and training tricks to keep dogs happy and active. Let’s create new adventures together – your dog and I could become the best of friends! 😊
